Aerotek, voted Best of Staffing, is hiring Maintenance Technicians to work for a local manufacturing facility, with a starting pay of $25-$27/hr (paid weekly).

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections, installs, repairs, and rebuilds on plant operating equipment.

• Reading and interpreting equipment manuals, drawings, and work orders.

• Preventative maintenance and routine checks on production equipment to include: pneumatics and production machines, hydraulics, conveyors, pumps, fillers, agitators, and motors.

• Use of hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools

Qualifications:

• Emergency and unscheduled repairs may also be required

• MUST be flexible to work varying shifts (on-call), including but not limited to: weekends, nights, and/or overtime as required.

• Must be able to disassemble and rebuild multiple types of equipment.

• Working with mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and welding (Wire Feed & Rod), as well as Oxygen/ Acetylene, and Plasma Cutting.

• Ability to detect, isolate, and identify irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.

• Willingness to work around large manufacturing equipment and furnaces, as well as operate heavy equipment as necessary.

• Effectively handle multiple priorities with minimum supervision.

• Support LEAN implementation and actively engage in LEAN activities
