POSITION SUMMARY:
Assembly General Labor assists one or more co-workers by performing specific or general duties of lesser skill, such as keeping a work supplied with material and tools, cleaning the work area, cleaning product; assisting by holding materials or tools and performing other unskilled tasks as directed. This is a safety sensitive position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Performs duties using various types of air and hand tools.
Performs work overhead, stoop, bend, lift up to 75lbs and push/pull molds.
Performs a variety of installation of parts and services during the manufacturing process.
Performs placement of decals on boats, installation of parts, electrical wiring, cleaning, and detail work.
Performs building and cleaning with solvents, resins, glue, sealers, cleaners, and different types of fiberglass.
Performs 5S inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining assigned equipment and area.
ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Years of experience: No experience required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
Basic understanding of production requirements and safe work practices
Written and oral communication skills
Ability to operate hand tools
Ability to multi-task
Ability to read and comprehend instructions
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regular walking, standing, and lifting up to 50lbs
Occasional sitting
Must be able to travers facilities and hand tools by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stooping, and carrying materials.
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT :
- Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor. Limited opportunity exists for exercising independent judgment and decision making.
