Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Miami Springs, Florida. This role entails handling both Accounts Payable (AP) and customer credit management in a highly automated environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and has the ability to quickly adapt and learn new tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and process invoices automatically through approval processes in our system

• Ensure that payments are made according to policy, on point with due date, and legitimate by double checking invoices and documentation

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner

• Manage relationships and communication with clients, ensuring their payments are up-to-date

• Act as a problem solver with customers that require more hands-on attention to clear issues regarding the repairs and interact with them on statement of account and reconciling what’s on file with service done and what is owed

• Carry out some analysis for reporting as needed

• Keep clients in good standing and collect payments as needed

• Advise clients that a payment needs to be made upfront if they are above the credit line or to pay outstanding to keep servicing while maintaining a great relationship. Requirements • Position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting role

• Must possess knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work is essential

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make well-judged decisions

• Familiarity with financial software or accounting systems is a plus

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Must be able to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work effectively

• Demonstrated analytical skills and a comfort with numbers and financial data.
