Position Summary
Harvest Support is responsible for monitoring performance of sanitation equipment, while cleaning growing rooms, floor and equipment. Working alone or with a team, under limited supervision.
Essential Job Functions
- Ability to work independently and productively with limited supervision and collaboratively as part of a team
- Daily cleaning of growing rooms, floors, and equipment
- Wrapping, labeling and moving pallets
- Scanning labels with hand-held scanner, stacking cartons on pallet, wrapping product , moving pallets with pallet jack
- General housekeeping duties
- Moving bins and trays with a forklift
- Performs other related duties as requested
- Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on the safe handling and proper use of machines and tools used for the operations
- Adherence to Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) for food processing
- Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) for food processing
- Accurate completion of daily logs and reports according to the SOP
Other Functions
- Regular contact with all levels of personnel throughout the organization
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Other tasks assigned by manager
- Flexible, adaptable, and willing to support other areas when needed
- Ability to learn and work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workflow
- Regular and reliable attendance
