We are currently seeking an organized, reliable Accounting Clerk in the Miami Lakes area for our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of financial tasks, including data entry, processing accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, invoicing, and assisting with the preparation of budget and financial reports.

Overview of duties:

• Assisting in the processing of accounts payable and receivable.

• Managing invoice documentation, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and up-to-date.

• Tracking and reconciling bank statements.

• Processing expense reports and providing documentation for audits.

• Preparing and maintaining financial reports.

• Performing data entry tasks to update financial transactions in the database.

• Coordinating with the bookkeeper to maintain accounting files.

• Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial statement reports.

• Handling petty cash and processing check requests.

• Investigating and resolving discrepancies in financial entries.

• Supporting annual audits by providing necessary information and preparing needed documents.

• Ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant legal regulations.

• Assisting colleagues with other financial tasks as needed.

  Requirements

• Prior experience in a similar role, preferably as an Accounting Clerk.

• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel, and knowledge of accounting software such as Quickbooks.

• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent mathematical skills to manage numbers and financial data.
