Univision Communications, Inc VP, Strategy & Operations in Miami, Florida

The Univision Network Limited Partnership in Miami, FL seeks a full-time Vice President, Strategy & Operations to drive strategy and growth across Entertainment, Sports, and News, and developing new business opportunities in collaboration with our streaming business unit. Serve as the day-to-day strategy lead and help to generate and refine new business ideas and support company-wide strategic initiatives from early business/financial modeling through project launches and ongoing execution and monitoring. Work with executives and other business leaders to identify and evaluate new business initiatives across Television and Streaming, and lead execution from beginning to end. Scale Television business through innovative ideas and recommend new ways to approach existing operating models to help generate new revenue streams in addition to identifying operational efficiency. Work with other functional areas of the company to orchestrate changes initiatives that help scale. Conduct and gather regular, in-depth research and analysis on industry trends, competitive landscape, new products, making recommendations to senior management regarding new strategy development. Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions, collaborating with team members to collect and analyze data and creating reports for senior leadership and/or external clients. Facilitate division level resource allocation, evaluation, and adjustments based on goals and objectives. Execute on operating mechanisms with management including quarterly Business Review meetings, quarterly Board of Directors meetings, and annual business planning. Manage measurement tools to track performance for all areas and processes to sustain ongoing improvement and ensures results are regularly reviewed by the executive team. Drive strategic integration and coordination within portfolio and effectively build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple lines of businesses and functional departments. Draw on media experience to generate complex analyses and scenario planning for executive recommendation and decision-making.

Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or related field plus 5 years of experience in the occupation or as a business strategy professional. Will also accept a Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Business, Marketing, or related field plus 7 years of experience in the occupation or as a business strategy professional.

Must be fluent in written and spoken Spanish. Must have experience in linear media and streaming industries. Must be knowledgeable in content monetization and distribution strategies. Must also be knowledgeable in performance marketing.
