You will be a part of the Urinalysis New Product Development Team and report to the Manager of NPD Systems/HW responsible for designing, developing and troubleshooting next generation Urinalysis. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop leadership proficiencies.

  • Participate in skill shares and other technical knowledge share sessions.

  • Work in exciting new technologies such as micro fluidics, cutting edge microscopic/optics architecture, and advanced development architecture, etc.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field with at least 9+years of experience years or Master’s degree with 7+ years.

  • Prototype, design, implement and maintain Microscopy Urinalysis equipment.

  • Participate in multi-functional project teams to resolve hardware/systems issues.

  • Work in an obeya environment with other team members on new product development while adhering to standard development processes.

  • Write technical specifications for interfaces and testing.

It would be a plus if you also possess knowledge in:

  • Agile Hardware

  • Experience with IVD and/or Life Science instruments

  • Understanding of Product Development Process, Life Cycles Management, and Manufacturing in an FDA regulated environment.
