Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. IT Auditor in Miami, Florida. The role involves working within our technology department, focusing on assessing the adherence to the company's operational and financial control procedures, identifying and mitigating risks, and recommending changes to enhance efficiency and safeguard company assets.
Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the development and execution of audit plans spanning finance, technology, operations, strategic, and compliance areas
• Conduct department technology reviews to assess compliance with the company's operational and financial control procedures
• Monitor the company's computer network to identify any mismanagement, fraud, or inefficiency
• Recommend changes to procedures or compliance measures to maximize resources or opportunities and safeguard company assets
• Collaborate with the audit team and management to recommend operational changes or financial procedures and internal controls
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems, Audit Program, CaseWare, CCH ProSystem Fx, and CobiT to carry out auditing tasks effectively
• Participate in Audit Engagements and present Audit Findings to management
• Develop and implement Audit Plans in line with company strategy
• Adhere to Data Privacy and Cybersecurity compliance regulations
• Oversee Accounting Functions within the auditing process to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Requirements • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with Audit Programs
• Experience with CaseWare and CCH ProSystem Fx
• Knowledge of CobiT Framework
• Ability to handle Accounting Functions
• Experience in managing Audit Engagements
• Ability to interpret and communicate Audit Findings
• Comprehensive understanding of Auditing principles and practices
• Experience in creating and implementing Audit Plans
• Knowledge of Data Privacy regulations and best practices
