Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Miami, Florida

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst based in Miami, Florida. The role primarily involves financial analysis, risk management, budgeting, and financial planning. The successful candidate will be involved in a range of financial tasks, including accounts receivable and payable, general accounting, data entry, communication, and administrative support.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and timely processing and recording of customer invoices

• Monitoring and following up on overdue customer accounts

• Preparing and submitting invoices to customers

• Reviewing and verifying invoices and purchase orders

• Processing vendor payments and ensuring timely disbursement

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date vendor records

• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements

• Reconciling bank statements and other financial records

• Supporting month-end and year-end closing procedures

• Entering financial transactions into the accounting system with a high level of accuracy

• Maintaining organized and efficient filing systems for financial records

• Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve financial discrepancies

• Responding to inquiries from vendors and customers regarding financial matters

• Providing general administrative assistance to the accounting department. Requirements • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field of study.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial analyst role.

• Proficiency in ad hoc financial analysis and complex financial analysis.

• Capability to analyze financial statements, annual audited financial statements, and consolidated financial statements.

• Experience in creating complex financial models and developing financial models.

• Knowledge of Financial Accounting Standards Board regulations.

• Expertise in financial allocation, financial analysis, and financial analytics.

• Familiarity with credit risk management, credit risk models, and financial risk.

• Understanding of investment risk and liquidity risk management.

• Experience in budgeting, cash forecasting, and economic forecasting.

• Proficiency in forecasting and modeling.

• Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) and corporate financial planning.

• Ability to prepare annual financial plans and reports.

• Experience with external financial reports and audited financial statements.

• No requirement for candidates to undergo criminal or background checks.

• Ability to work in a team and possess strong communication skills.

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.

• Strong understanding of regulatory standards within the finance industry.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
