Job Description

Our client, a leading financial services company, is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Business Analyst. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the mortgage industry, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to drive financial projects forward.

Develop and manage test suites, dashboards, and business requirement documents using Azure DevOps

Lead initiatives to enhance loan origination processes and analyze mortgage lending data for process improvements

Support accounting operations by ensuring accurate setup for high-volume transactions

Handle accounting data validation across various financial processes

Create and run simple stored procedures to analyze financial data

Identify variances between different financial datasets and determine root causes

Develop and optimize data pipelines for improved financial reporting

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements for mortgage lending systems

Translate business requirements into user stories for Agile processes

Manage data governance and reporting using SQL and Cognos

Support development teams in Agile environments

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in the mortgage industry

Strong proficiency in SQL for ad hoc reporting and data analysis

Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Experience with financial projects, billing, and invoicing

Ability to identify variances in financial data and propose solutions Experience with Azure cloud services and performance optimization

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools

Experience with financial accounting tasks and compliance requirements null
