Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Miami, Florida. This role centers around the finance industry, dealing primarily with full-cycle accounting for an investment firm. As part of our team, you will be mainly responsible for managing intercompany transactions and consolidations along with utilizing software like Quickbooks and Netsuite.

Responsibilities:

• Executing full-cycle accounting tasks to ensure financial integrity.

• Handling intercompany transactions and reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

• Utilizing Quickbooks and Netsuite for accounting and financial reporting purposes.

• Conducting regular balance sheet reconciliations to verify financial data.

• Executing bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

• Preparing and posting journal entries to maintain general ledger accuracy.

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.

• Managing month-end close procedures to complete financial reporting within deadlines.

• Performing account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

• Working on consolidations to ensure accurate financial reporting. Requirements • Must hold a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

• Proven experience as a Sr. Accountant or similar role

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential

• Solid knowledge of account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations

• Experience with general ledger functions and creating journal entries

• Familiarity with accounting software, preferably NetSuite

• Strong understanding of the month-end close process

• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to spot numerical errors

• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Must have a professional and ethical approach to work.
