Registered Nurse Intensive Care Fellowship Program:

  • Surgical Intensive Care

  • Cardiovascular Intensive Care,

  • Neuro Intensive Care

Deadline to submit online application is, Friday April 26th, 2024 . Any applications posted after deadline will not be considered for interview. Interviews will be conducted starting on April 1st,- May 30th, 2024.

Eligibility for application:

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor’s degree (BSN) preferred. RNs hired with an Associates (ASN) degree have 2 years to complete the BSN degree. Minimum two-three (2-3) years of Med/Surg/Telemetry experience required. Must have current BLS and ACLS certification. Night Shift Only.

DESCRIPTION

The Specialty ICU Registered Nurse Fellowship Program is a comprehensive orientation program that transitions the novice nurse to the role of an advanced beginner in a collaborative learning environment. Developed by academic and clinical nursing experts. The UMH ICU Registered Nurse Fellowship Program is an ICU competency based program that includes evidence based lectures, online learning modules, human patient simulation and an outstanding preceptorship program. Each nurse is mentored throughout the program by supportive staff, leaders and academic experts.

Candidates who are accepted into any ICU Registered Nurse Fellowship Program are required to sign a fulltime three (3) year contractual agreement with the University of Miami Hospital (UMH). Default in contract will result in repayment to the University of Miami Hospital for all program related costs
