Adecco is currently assisting an American supplier of scientific instrumentation, reagents and consumables, and software services in recruiting for Packaging Engineer role in Miami, FL.

Schedule : 8am - 5pm Mon-Fri

Pay Rate: The wage for this position is between $30 and $33. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.

Primary responsibilities include:

The role for Packaging Engineer I is responsible for developing package designs, distribution testing, technical documentation, and materials sustainment for both Consumables and Instruments.

• Provide packaging support for internal and external customers, globally.

• Participate in analysis and resolution of packaging issues using Problem Solving methodology.

• Write technical test protocols, reports, engineering drawings, and ensure manufacturing/packaging documents are created, updated and in compliance with company standards.

• Support release of new and enhancements to existing product packaging.

• Define packaging materials, with a focus on waste reduction.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum of Bachelors in Packaging, or Packaging related field such as Material Sciences

• Experience: Minimum of 0-1 year experience in related FDA regulated field.

• Sufficient experience in technical writing; ISO and GMP as required.

• Experience with hands-on Distribution Testing per ASTM and/or ISTA.

• CAD Software experience, or similar

• Cold Chain/Thermodynamics experience or knowledge

Pay Details: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour
