Job Description

The primary role of the Market Operations Associate is to work closely with the Market Operations Supervisor to execute operational responsibilities for approved media plans. The Market Operations Associate is required to be a strong independent contributor who utiliizes designated software to achieve operational goals.

Specific Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations, which include but are not limited to:

  • Utilizing software to accurately input media buys, code/reconcile vendor invoices, actualize media spend and bill regional clients

  • Utilizing software to complete reporting requirements within stipulated deadlines

  • Utilizing critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills to accurately and completely respond to regional client requests in a timely manner

  • Completing required agency training courses offered by managers, vendors and online modules related to media, media billing and personal skills development.

  • Mastering the full-range of media systems required for the role

  • Maintaining and managing assigned projects and managing internal team communication

  • Maintaining positive relationships with internal and external customers

  • Demonstrating initiative by identifying ways to improve operational efficiency

  • Serving as a primary point of contact for day-to-day requests from Agency Teams

  • Consistently delivering high-quality work within deadline

  • Consistently able to articulate both the company and group mission by embodying the Agency’s values in work and collaborative efforts

  • Consistently able to articulate group and individual goals by actively particiapting in all steps of the performance assessment process

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university

  • One year of media/communications planning experience (Beneficial but not mandatory)

  • Bilingual: English and Spanish

  • Strong numeracy and Excel skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be detailed oriented, focused and have the ability to multitask

  • Ability to actively participate and eventually lead telephone and online meetings

  • Ability to prioritize and organize projects to meet internal and external deadlines

  • Must be able to work as a team player

  • Demonstrate initiative and desire for learning, with ongoing interest in understanding emerging trends in media, marketing and communications

  • Collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to teamwork

  • Demonstrate leadership skills and growth potential for future supervisory roles
