General Summary
State Representative Ashley Gantt is now accepting applications in her Miami, Florida office to assist with a variety of administrative and public relations matters requiring a thorough understanding of the policies, procedures, and operating practices of the Florida Legislature.
The Legislature offers a competitive benefits package. This position is not eligible for remote work.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Knowledge and application of House Rules, Protocol, House-specific Applications, House Administrative Policies and the Legislature’s Joint Policies and Procedures.

Public Relations and Press Releases
Stakeholder Relations
Designated Tallahassee Staff during Committee Weeks and Session and Travel System
Mandatory Trainings as Assigned

Minimum Qualifications
An Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university and two years of administrative experience.
Professional administrative experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
