Description We are in the process of recruiting a Financial Analyst: II (Intermediate) based in our Miami, Florida office. The primary function of this role involves analyzing and reconciling accounts, preparing variance reports, and working with operating plans to create supporting financial forecasts and budgets. This role also requires a deep understanding of accounting and finance principles, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Word software and other popular financial management applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis and reconciliation of financial accounts

• Generate and explain variance reports

• Collaborate with operating plans to develop financial forecasts and budgets

• Conduct research to understand the financial implications of different strategic approaches

• Use Microsoft Excel/Word software for various financial management tasks

• Handle ad hoc financial tasks as required

• Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish, presenting financial analysis to management

• Use knowledge of banking operations to enhance financial management

• Ensure the accuracy of financial records and customer credit applications

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

• Strong research skills, particularly in finance and budget processes

• Ability to perform ad hoc financial analysis

• Fluency in English and Spanish

• In-depth understanding of financial analysis, financial planning, and variance analysis principles

• Willingness to work onsite

• Excellent written communication skills

• Experience in financial management and creating financial forecasts

• Familiarity with operating plans

• Ability to reconcile bank accounts

• Understanding of banking operations

• Knowledge of various accounting functions

• Experience in QA management
