JBS USA eCommerce Operations Manager in Miami, Florida

Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven eCommerce Operations Manager to oversee the operational aspects of our ecommerce channel. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient order fulfillment, optimize logistics, and enhance operational processes to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

This is an in-office role, Monday-Friday, in Miami, FL.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management: Oversee daily eCommerce operations, including order processing, fulfillment, and shipping.

  • Logistics Coordination: Manage last-mile delivery logistics to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Lead fulfillment optimization projects to ensure best case scenario as we grow our footprint.

  • Process Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and scalability.

  • KPI Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators such as fulfillment rates, delivery times, and operational costs. Ownership of P&L line items such as Shipping & Packaging Expenses.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the eCommerce Operations Analyst, fostering a high-performance culture.

  • Systems Improvements: Identify and implement enhancements to operational systems and technologies to streamline processes and improve efficiency in collaboration with our IT Team.

  • Problem Resolution: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement effective solutions promptly.

  • Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations and company policies.

  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with last-mile logistics providers and other operational vendors ensure operational excellence and favorable terms.

  • Reporting: Prepare and present operational performance reports and insights to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field.

  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in operations & delivery carrier management, preferably in eCommerce or retail logistics.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in operations management software and tools.

  • Experience with order management systems and warehouse management systems.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics processes.

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on operational excellence.

  • Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations effectively.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in scaling operations in a high-growth environment.

  • Familiarity with lean management principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
