Overview of Role:
To support the Destination Management team by conducting RFP’s and Negotiating contracts terms and pricing for pre and post cruise hotel accommodations.
Key Responsibilities:
Contact Hotel partners for RFP
Support the implementation and maintenance of in-house inventory and pricing monitoring processors
Analyze bidding contracts amongst suppliers taking into consideration both cost efficiencies and quality
Negotiate contract pricing as well as contract terms and conditions with suppliers
Support the Director of Finance in any sourcing advise needed
Work closely with Royal legal and risk management teams as needed
Requirements
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business administration or tourism
Years of experience: 3 years, preferably in the cruise/tour operator industry
Essential qualifications and skills:
Proven experience in the Cruise industry (3+ years) with in-depth knowledge of Shore Side Programs (i.e. Hotel, Pre and Post Land Programs, Transfers)
Strong negotiation skills with proven experience in the Hotel and Supplier Programs domain
Strong analytical skills with extreme attention to details
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Organizational and leadership skills (experience in global team coordination is valued)
BSc/BA in Travel, Tourism and Hospitality, Business Administration, Management or similar
