Citigroup Balance Sheet Management Sr Group Manager in Miami, Florida

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Balance Sheet Management Sr Group Manager for its Miami, Florida location.

Duties: Enhance and strengthen the overall governance of the Country Treasury Model for countries in the cluster Latin America Andean and South (Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, and Argentina). Serve as a voting member in the country Assets and Liabilities Committee, enhancing Treasury’s leadership, oversight, and governance roles over critical country balance sheet matters and decisions. Oversee balance sheet management strategy. Monitor balance sheet evolution versus plan and requirements Engage Country Treasurers and local businesses in achieving balance sheet optimization, monitor consistency with plan, forecasts, and CCAR cycles. Oversee stress-testing exercises, including exposure levels and metric trends. Supervise securities investments and its funding to ensure appropriate allocation and use of financial resources. Oversee the countries’ balance sheet management activities, including balance sheet projections, liquidity monitoring, Funding, and Liquidity Plan and Contingency Funding Plan reviews. Ensure consistent application of funds transfer pricing. Drive capital structure and dividends repatriation plan and its requirements, in addition to monitoring the roll out of global policies and balance sheet initiatives to ensure compliance and consistency, including liquidity initiatives, balance sheet optimization drivers, high quality liquid assets controls, and standardization efforts. Manage interest rate risk by monitoring internal and regulatory metrics based on the risk appetite framework of the firm and taking actions on assets or liabilities to adequately position the balance sheet to face potential interest rate shocks. Analyze applicability and benefits of financial derivatives, funding products and fixed income as part of the dynamics of the balance sheet optimization to obtain maximum returns and hedge balance sheet exposures from market risks. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or its foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field and 10 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as a Treasurer, Markets Treasurer, Trading Head or related position involving financial planning and analysis working within the global financial services industry. 10 years of experience must include: Asset and Liability Management; Interest Rate Risk management; Local Regulatory framework in Latin America Countries; and Analysis of financial derivatives, funding products and fixed income.
