Overview

Provide analytical support and actionable insights for SGWS Supplier Development & Marketing team. This role will compile, analyze, and report on a variety of commercial KPIs utilizing data from a variety of internal sources across the portfolio of SDM and SG+ suppliers. These insights are used to analyze supplier business results, program performance, and contractual compliance. This role serves as a strong entry point into a supplier-facing commercial organization for candidates with 2 years of experience or less.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Track Regional and State execution of Supplier Programming using Business Objects with ongoing maintenance and updates as required

  • Follow department process to set up and maintain national tracking and KPI’s based on a specific predetermined formatted tracker in a predetermined format

  • Create ad-hoc reporting as needed to support supplier portfolio

  • Support a portfolio of suppliers with internal teams including MDM and ETP teams to set up and maintain the Supplier Hierarchy (SuperGroup, Group, SubGroup) and product

  • Utilize and maintaining reporting/data integrity for both internal and external reporting (Vip/iDig) needs

  • Responsible for annual supplier goal validation and loading into E2O system and maintenance to ensure accuracy year-round

  • Support department-wide Insights projects that can drive standardization and efficiencies

  • Working knowledge of analytical tools that support Corporate, Regional, and local Insights requests including SalesNav and Business Objects

  • Partner with the SDM VP to work with Insights teams at the supplier to validate scorecards and programs and resolve any reporting discrepancies

  • Resolve any internal reporting discrepancies for corporately managed suppliers by working with cross-functional teams and supporting Supplier Insights leader(s)

Additional Primary Responsibilities

  • Validate Supplier PY Histories annually and CY histories monthly; work with the supplier in a timely manner to reconcile differences

  • Support Sr. Analyst/Manager on additional reporting as needed

  • Influence performance-based culture through the development of analytics, tools, and technology leading to increased transparency, accountability, and best practice for the business

  • Maintain a predetermined set of standards and advise on new and innovative methods to improve the standards

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and two years of experience or equivalent education and related experience

  • 0-2 years of experience preferred in a corporate business/financial analyst role

  • Ability to clearly synthesize and analyze data from a variety of internal and external data sources

  • Working knowledge of Business Objects and advanced MS Excel/PowerBi

  • Working knowledge of other MS Office Suite and/or software applications related to job functions

Physical Demands

  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine

  • Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping

  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
