About Us: Robert Half is a global leader in specialized staffing services, providing skilled professionals in the fields of finance and accounting. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client's team in Miami, FL.

Job Description: As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of incoming payments and maintaining our client's financial records. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures

• Perform daily cash application functions, including posting payments, reconciling accounts, and resolving discrepancies

• Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts to ensure timely collection of payments

• Prepare and distribute invoices and statements to clients

• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues and customer inquiries

• Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts receivable transactions

• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable

• Generate and analyze accounts receivable reports to identify trends and areas for improvement

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, preferred

• Proven experience as an accounts receivable specialist or in a similar role

• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel

• Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
