GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Guarantee the adequate supply of finished products, accessories and spare parts in time, through effective planning of requirements ensuring the availability of products for sale, required in a timely and correct manner; inventory management with the lowest possible logistic cost.

PRIMARY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the optimal levels of inventory through the execution of MRP & MPS, update daily basis to determine, additional purchase or decreases (suppliers from ASIA and Manufacturing plant Acuña)

  • To define actual MPS in manufacturing plant (Acuña) to achieve the delivery dates expectations, align together with production planer (in house Acuña) the production schedules lines and balance the manufacturing plans.

  • For Asia suppliers (imports): Manage the optimal levels of inventory through the execution of MRP & MPS (update every third day to determine, additional purchase or decreases)

  • Update the ERP quarterly basis, (or as the case may be) prices, parameters, and corresponding files, for the supply of product and creation of purchase orders. (Master data in ERP)

  • Execute and issue the monthly and annual purchasing plan to Finance, through inventory stocks, supplier delivery times, transit time, MOQ's, etc., to cover the Sales Forecast and comply with the company's annual fcst and maintain adequate inventory levels that meet the demand

  • Manage planned activities in Warehouse, working together with responsible to execute, receipts, kit assembly (combos), NOPs, and other activities inside Warehouse

  • Manage and negotiate the product, with suppliers, to cover the Sales Forecast, which is delivered in time and form, following up to ensure its shipment according to dates committed to the supplier.

  • Work in coordination with the Traffic area to ensure timely transportation programming for each order, to guarantee its transit, customs clearance, and arrival according to the purchase orders issued to the supplier.

  • Provide feedback on product availability, and / or additional purchase outside the fcst to the Commercial area (Sales and Marketing), Finance and General Management, through negotiations with suppliers, MRP reports and newsletter for decision making.

  • Implement and monitor performance indicators of suppliers to identify areas of opportunity and execute improvement plans according to the results. Such as Forecast Consumption, planned receipts, Fill Rate, Out Of Stock

  • Contribute accounts payable to ensure payment by preparing the cash flow to 8 weeks, to request the payment of invoices to suppliers and taxes.

  • Follow up the incidents according to the surplus or missing product by requesting invoices or credit notes to suppliers as well as the packaging requests to minimize the maintenance of products in Reconditioning.

  • Suppliers – Set, monitor, and follow up for purchase orders. Evaluate and negotiate delivery dates

  • Demand planning: Sales forecast accuracy

  • Sales: Confirm outliers, validate sales forecast accuracy, update delivery dates

  • Marketing: Confirm outliers, validate sales forecast accuracy, update delivery dates

  • Warehouse: confirm inventory management and all data in ERP (SAP)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Industrial Engineering or Administrative Degree

3 years of experience in similar positions

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS (i.e., Software, Project Management, Computer Skills, etc.)

Required: APICS CPIM, English (advanced), MS Office, ERP’s

Preferred: SAP, Power BI
