Description

We’re looking for a Sr. Product manager who will own strategy, tools, policy and product roadmap for Deals in MX. This person will collaborate with WW product teams and local business and pricing teams to ensure our customers get the best deal CX in MX.

You will flex your analytical and PM abilities as you design, experiment and build out deal products and strategies that help customers experience and understand how Amazon can help provide greater value and strengthen customer engagement.

In this role, you will own the experimentation roadmap to constantly improve our deals products and customer facing CX. It is a critical role at the center of High Velocity Events as well as Tier 2&3 events. To be successful, you will be naturally curious, thrive in ambiguity, have a strong back-bone and great communication skills. You need to be willing to roll up your sleeves to get things done and obsess about how to serve our customers better. This role requires the ability to perform deep analysis, but also move quickly and use a test and learn approach when needed.

Key job responsibilities

  • Establish MX vision and strategy for deals

  • Work with WW Deals teams to define experimentation and product roadmap for deals tech in MX

  • Create policy and tenants for deal strategy in MX, including HVEs and Tier2&3 events

  • Run Deal rules and supression analysis before and during events

  • Work with business partners and pricing teams to improve overall deal quality

-Work with SiteX and Homepage teams to improve deal visibility and overall CX during events

A day in the life

The Sr Prooduct Manager Deals MX will be responsible for all deal strategy, product, tools and policy management. During off-peak seasons, the PM will work on product roadmaps and strategy. During High-velocity events, this person will work closely with the Events PM to deliver a great deals experience for our customers . They will need to work diverse teams involved, organize and lead alignment meetings, present readiness docs and lead all leadership-facing communication. This role is strategic for the MX Stores team, and will have high level visibility among MX leaderhsip.

About the team

The Brand Marketing and Events team runs all cross-channel marketing investment to drive top-of-the funnel metrics for Amazon brand, and is responsible for the strategy and execution of Retail events for Mexico Stores business.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
