About the Role:
As a key member of the Marketing Department, you will play a crucial role in producing and supporting the execution of in-person events, virtual events, and webinars for S&P Global Market Intelligence. Your work will help showcase our essential intelligence and deliver a best-in-class attendee experience for a global audience of customers and prospects.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing all aspects of event operations, including in-person, virtual events, and webinars. Strong communication, project management, organizational skills, and cross-functional collaboration are essential, along with the ability to work European hours when necessary.
The Team:
The Global Events team supports the Marketing organization in driving customer engagement, influencing the revenue pipeline, and building the S&P Global Market Intelligence brand. Through innovative marketing programs, differentiated channel management, and operational excellence, the team works collaboratively to achieve sales, renewal, and retention goals. Responsibilities and Impact:
Event Management: Execute logistics for in-person events, virtual events, and webinars, ensuring timely coordination of assets and deliverables.
Virtual Event Operations: Manage virtual events on platforms like ON24, including setup, technical support, live execution, and post-event reporting.
Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to schedule events, rehearsals, and promotional activities.
Speaker Support: Assist in scheduling, organizing logistics, and providing presenters with guidance to deliver high-quality sessions.
Event Execution: Facilitate live events (both virtual and in-person) and rehearsals, adhering to established guidelines and protocols.
Data & Reporting: Track event performance metrics, compile post-event reports, and analyze effectiveness to inform future initiatives.
Best Practices Development: Work with the Global Webinar team to develop strategies, refine timelines, and optimize processes.
What We Are Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience in managing in-person, virtual events, and webinars is essential.
Event Platforms: Familiarity with platforms like ON24 is preferred but not mandatory.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with a sharp attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to collaborate and build rapport with colleagues across all levels.
Problem-Solving: Adept at resolving challenges with innovative solutions.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience Level: 2+ years of experience in a corporate environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Events, or a related field is preferred.
