What will you be doing?

The PRM Associate Intern will support the timely and appropriate resourcing of staff to potential, new and existing project assignments. Maintain and utilize tracking systems & reports to provide accurate and timely information about current and future staffing needs/availabilities, required skills, and recovery and utilization rates.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake other reasonably related duties as may be assigned from time to time. Recognize, exemplify, and adhere to ICON's values which center around our commitment to People, Clients, and Performance.

  • As a member of staff, the employee is expected to embrace and contribute to our culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs.

  • The following responsibilities are expected to be competently performed with instruction, guidance and supervision by line management using the tools and procedures already in place.

  • Admin, develop, & update resource tracking systems in relation to staff allocation to projects.

  • Admin and ensure the data quality of information stored in the resourcing database for the assigned staff pool re reservations, unfilled requirements, skills and all other IBT-PRM-maintained resourcing information. Ensure updates are submitted to the designated IBT-PRM colleagues in a timely manner and contain accurate information; Provide regular and ad hoc reports and information to functional leadership, which is up to date, accurate and timely. Support MyCV data quality in the IBT-PRM resourcing database.

  • Support PRM Manager in providing clear and detailed information for inclusion in proposals after reviewing RFIs and RFP

  • Produce and analyze reports that accurately forecast future resource needs/resource availabilities, required skills, headcount to sell, and recovery and utilization rates.

  • Use existing procedures & tools to solve problems; analyze information and standard practices to make judgments. Over time, will develop knowledge of precedents to enhance problem solving.

You will need:

  • Current Students pursuing their bachelor’s degree or international equivalent in health sciences, or a related field, a Junior or Senior standing.

  • CRO, pharmaceutical or clinical research experience, preferred.

  • Previous experience using computerized information systems and standard application software (Windows, MS Office)

  • Working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

  • Excellent written, and oral communication in English.
