General Manager of Kedrion Mexicana

Office location: Mexico City

The General Manager role coordinates the operational activities of the Company, Kedrion Mexicana, in line with Kedrion group strategies, functional organization and standards and with the direction of the LATAM Commercial Director with the objective of facilitating reaching the Company goals as well as operational efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all reporting positions, facilitating the achievement of the Company goals as well as efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources, in agreement with the Commercial Director and the Global Functional Heads.

  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

  • Support the development and ensures the monitoring and the implementation of Company plans aiming at supporting the achievement of Group’s strategies and targets within the Latam region for Mexico, in agreement with the Commercial Director and the Global Functional Heads.

  • Oversee staff in developing annual budgets according to the Group strategic plans and financial policies. He/She is responsible for the assigned budget.

  • Establish and implement policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, in collaborations with the Commercial Director, local CFO and Global Functional Heads.

  • Facilitate, promoting dialogue, communication and cross-functional collaborations, the coordination and alignment between Corporate and Local Functions.

  • Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.

  • Carry out the activities and responsibilities of the legal representative, under the provisions of the articles of incorporation and each and every one of the contracts and agreements signed by the company.

  • Manage and coordinate the personnel under his/her charge in each of the areas of responsibility, whether direct or indirect, i.e. Finance, Quality, Regulatory, Sales, PV, etc.

  • Drives with the sales team, the Commercial strategy to meet the annual sales budgets and forecasted profit margins.

  • This includes:

  • Sales analysis, reporting, monitoring and contract compliance

  • Product availability and delivery, product updates and any credits to be granted to customers

  • Achieving and following commercial agreements, i.e. Wholesale Distributors, Government Institutions, and having key relationships within these areas

  • Oversee our bidding process, ensuring compliance and legal preparation

  • Supports training of Kedrion products to direct, indirect and final customers

  • Supervises our customer service

  • Gain insight to the behavior of the market for Kedrion products, competitors and overall market dynamics.

  • In partnership with other colleagues within Kedrion, this role will:

  • Monitor and control invoicing,

  • Inform the Health Regulation Management of any updates of Regulatory information,

  • Ensure the legal regulatory structure of products,

  • Ensure compliance with the Health Authority regarding Quality of products and services,

  • Prepare and supervise the company's annual budget,

  • Supervise the import process.

  • Ensure compliance with the mandatory Mexican Official Standard in the National Territory, for health professionals and drug marketers.

  • Keep and prepare records for compliance and authentication of audits established by KEDRION MEXICANA and the institutions authorized to do so.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree is required. An MBA or other continued education is preferred..

  • More than 10 years’ in health care industries or related experience including at least 3-5 years of general management experience.

  • Prior experience leading a team to exceed annual sales targets within Mexico

  • Written and spoken fluency in Spanish and English.

  • Extensive experience and training in all aspects of Leadership and Management.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across a wide spectrum of general management tasks.

  • Strong market knowledge of sales channels for Kedrion products

  • Has Key industry contacts to ensure a positive market reputation of Kedrion and the ability to sustain relationships that support Kedrion’s ability to meet its sales and financial targets for the business

  • Maintain a high level of ethical and compliance standards

  • Location: The position is located in Mexico City at the Kedrion Mexicana office. Travel within Mexico, to regional LATAM commercial meetings and abroad is required.
