If so, the AMZL Expansion team is looking for an Expansion Analyst that will be primarily responsible for information management, reporting updates and controlled support to planning and execution activities to the Expansion PMs. Candidates for the role must be capable of understand general project objectives and implement standard reporting best practices to maintain efficient communication with stakeholders. The candidate must be able to process and organize data, to keep a structured repository of information to support analysis and decision making. In addition, this role will provide limited support with tasks and activities required to keep facilities and assets updated to customer needs, and limited support to other initiatives.

Key job responsibilities

• Own and develop the project management reporting tools and mechanisms.

• Create and manage shared document and information repositories.

• Drive data and information sharing mechanisms and best practices.

• Provide specific support to other programs and initiatives through purchasing, configuration and trouble-ticket tracking.

• Own, coordinate manage asset transfers, relocations and updates in the network.

• Compile and manage day-to-day requests from Operation stakeholders.

• Budget tracking for locally managed investments and expenses.

A day in the life

As MX Expansion Analyst, you will make sure project reports are updated, information, communications and formats are consistent. The MX Expansion Analyst, will go over information, documents are shared data to make sure reports and repositories remain up to date, and available to stakeholders. Will continuously coordinate with Expansion PMs and specific stakeholders to process new requests, follow up on pending activities, and provide specific support with planning or execution tasks related to investment initiatives. The MX Expansion Analyst will also play a key role in operations asset management.

Amazon Mexico Expansion makes sure Logistics requirements are adequately translated into actionable projects with clear expectations aligned with business goals. Our team closely follows up the end-to-end project life-cycle to anticipate risks, help remove obstacles, and ensure cost, time and quality for every project. As part of continuous improvement efforts, the team works closely with Operations and stakeholders to remove compliance or safety risks in our operating facilities. We thrive in anticipating needs and risks, though solid planning, effective project management, and adjusting quickly to meet business requirements.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • English intermediate-advanced (B2+)

  • 3+ years of general experience

  • 2+ years of experience in program or project management

  • Advanced Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw insights

  • Solid communication skills and team player

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize workload

  • Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment

  • Experience in stakeholder management

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

  • Basic knowledge in Finance

  • Solid Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with cross functional interactions

  • Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
