Eaton Corporation Direct Tax Analyst LATAM in Mexico City, Mexico

Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Direct Tax Analyst LATAM.

What you’ll do:

Job Responsibilities:

A) Prepare the compliance package for the fiscal year, including but not limited to income tax returns, Monthly tax payments, ISSIF, Dictamen, informative returns and other Tax filings to be in compliance with the Mexican government for Mexican legal entities and some of Spanish speakers.

B) Assist with transfer pricing documentation to ensure proper transfer pricing is.

C) Prepare deferred income tax calculations

D) Support tax projects, such as changes due to tax reforms, fixed assets, tax incentives

E) Attend and respond to any request from the authority regarding Direct Taxes for Mexican and Spanish-speaking legal entities.

F) Carry out responsibilities and activities aligned with the company's values and promote collaboration within the Direct Taxes team

G) Create solid relationships in all companies

H) Promote an environment of continuous improvement

Qualifications:

Required Education Level

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution: Public Accountant

Language

English - Intermediate - Advanced

Technical knowledge

Excellent technical knowledge of Mexican Tax Laws and Regulations (knowledge of LATAM Law is desirable)

Interpersonal skills

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with others (peers, superiors, plant staff) in a dynamic environment

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities while meeting deadlines

  • Ability to assimilate information from multiple sources, identify problems, develop and implement solutions
