What part will you play?

  • You will attend and oversee assigned Division in all accounting related matters, directly responsible to assure that Division complies with Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines (IFRS), strong communication skills, value added, business partner approach, focussing on safeguarding company's financial statements.

  • Prepare monthly financial statements in Mexican NIF for assigned companies. Reconcile them with IFRS reporting to Corporate HQ

  • Control and instruct transactional accounting activities accounts payable (3rd party and within Siemens group), accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, closing & reporting including general ledger on a monthly basis.

  • Engage in all assigned monthly closing activities, prepare / review and instruct monthly General Ledger entries, review large variation of provision as per established LoA.

  • Prepare yearly statutory financial statements for assigned companies.

  • Provide regular training to internal customer on changes in financial reporting guidelines and on accounting topics as established by A&C management.

  • Consult / review with assigned Divisions accounting treatment for contracts, manufacturing as well for specialty accounting (Taxes, HR, Merge / Carve Out, Fixed Asset).

  • Responsible with Accounting Team Lead to implement new Accounting Standards.

  • Realize quarterly balance sheet reviews for assigned companies and Divisions, establish and see through corrective actions and present findings / actions to Management

Use your skills to move the world forward.

  • You are accounting professional, ideally certified as Public Accountant by Mexican Institute of Public Accountants

  • Knowledge of IFRS / NIF accounting standards, including revenue recognition know-how, particularly on construction contracts & accrual / provision, as well as on valuation and accounting for FX and inventory.

  • Hands on experience with MS Office is needed mainly Excel and Access, SAP FI/CO modules, Power BI and other analytical tools.

  • You fluently communicate in English written and spoken
