As a Finance Operations Analyst, you will sit within the International Accounting team, where your responsibilities will include all aspects of external payments, the general ledger, and month-end close for our International entities.

Your Success Profile What You Will Work On

  • Responsible for the timely and accurate entry of accounting operations / payment settlements

  • Process, reconcile, monitor, and resolve any issues with payment to external vendors

  • Work with Operations and Customer Success teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of payments

  • Collaborate with our internal product and operations team to enhance processes for accounting operations and payment settlements

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

  • Manage account analysis, reconciliations and various accounting schedules as part of the month-end close process

  • Compile and analyze large volumes of data for reporting

  • Assist in implementing accounting policies and procedures to ensure all financial transactions are executed according to GAAP principles

  • Provide support during the annual audit

  • Assist with special projects, as needed and perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role with strong understanding of accounting principles

  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Strong technical and organizational skills in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English

  • A highly analytical self-starter with the ability to resolve problems independently

  • Must be detail and results-oriented with an ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced, and constantly evolving environment

  • Ability to evaluate priorities and multi-task accordingly while keeping others apprised of status with respect to deadlines; exhibits accountability and ownership

  • Ability to see existing processes, find their true value and make them more efficient and valuable to the business

  • Interest in learning new processes and implementing the latest technology in a fast paced, data driven environment

  • Big 4 public accounting or public/private company corporate accounting experience a plus; Tech industry experience a plus

  • Experience with large datasets a plus

  • CPA or working towards completing a CPA a plus

  • Previous experience with Netsuite or other ERP systems a plus

    Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
