KBF Experienced Tax Associate in Metro Manila, Philippines

KBF Philippines, Inc. is currently seeking an Experienced Associate to join our PHL Tax Team.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in accounting for income taxes and tax provision calculations

  • Provide clients guidance on services related to individual, partnership, corporation, trust, and estate taxes

  • Analyze and compute clients’ proprietary tax strategies

  • Initiate, monitor, and deliver tax provision and tax compliance services in a timely and accurate manner

  • Build on technical competence by keeping up-to-date on tax law, trends, and developments; obtain deep technical expertise in the area of accounting for income taxes

  • Proactively manage project deadlines to ensure delivery of work products based on client expectations and statutory deadlines

  • Openly communicate with partners, managers, and teams about the status, timeline, issues, and progress of projects, tasks, and associated budgets

  • Learn to develop and manage client relationships

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field preferred

  • Minimum of two years of tax experience with a public accounting firm

  • Motivated, quick learner with strong communication skills and demonstrated professionalism

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to professionally communicate both verbally and in writing with KBF employees and clients

  • Willing to work hybrid in BGC, Taguig with a regular work schedule of Monday to Friday from 7 am to 4 pm Philippine Time

  • Flexibility to work overtime or overlapping hours during US peak tax season months
