- Project expected to last 45 weeks. 10/7 schedule with rest days as needed

Audubon is currently seeking aConstruction Managerto be part of a project team working onsite at a client's plant inArabi, LA. TheConstruction Managerwill
help with a Roof ConstructionProject. TheConstruction Managerwill assist the Project Manager, serving as the day to day jobsite representative.
- Must be able to work weekends.
- May be asked to oversee additional construction projects as needed.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Areas of Responsibility will include:
- Reviewing and interpreting plans, blueprints, site layouts, and speci?cations.
- Examining the structural quality, safety, and conformity of construction materials and practices.
- Performing daily detailed on-site inspections of construction project to verify adherence to all plans, speci?cations, and building codes.
- Ensuring that all civil/structural engineering aspects of the project are carried out as per plans, drawings, codes, and speci?cations.
- Checking-in with Project Manager daily.
- Documenting inspection?ndings, status of work at the end of the day, and preparing detailed reports for management.
- Performing or evaluating tests con?rming quality requirements, civil/structural?nishes, and building components.
- Maintaining work records, act on inspection?ndings, and?le reports.
- Checking all equipment and enforce strict compliance with all re?nery safety and quality requirements.
- Attending weekly progress meetings with project manager, engineer, and contractor; record and sending out meeting minutes to all attendees.
- Coordinating between the re?nery and contractor to ensure both parties are aware of the work to be performed each day and the work planned to be performed each week.
- Maintaining and ensuring project is on time and on budget.
- Coordinating RFIs and all other project documents with client, contractor, and engineer of record.
- Controlling all project documents and ensuring they are updated.
- Ensuring safety and quality requirements are met.
- Ensuring that the construction project complies with all safety and engineered documents.
- Identifying, managing and mitigating risk factors to ensure construction goes smoothly.
- Additional duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid grasp of building construction methods, building compliance and safety regulations.
- Comfort with technology and familiarity with construction management software programs.
- Leadership skills, including task delegation and staff management.
- Knowledge of basic accounting procedures, including making?nancial projections and creating project budgets.
- Decision-making, analytical and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong con?ict resolution skills.
