A leading tech company in the energy solutions industry is hiring for direct-hire Quality Control Technicians, with start dates ranging from the end of August to the middle of September. The company has opened a brand new multi-million dollar facility in Mesquite, Texas and is looking for experienced engineers who are interested in or have already worked in the manufacturing industry.

You may be selected to train in China for up to two weeks, so you must have a legal and non-expired passport in order to be considered. Summary: Assists and supports the Quality Engineers by providing production expertise to resolve Quality issues within the production operation. Monitors process, component and product quality problems and escalates to supervisor. May provide functional guidance or demonstrate work methods to new employees. Detailed Description:

  • Performs and reports in process and product first layer assessment.

  • Performs activities identified related to the Key process and product characteristics.

  • Supports and verifies the identification and processing of internal non-conforming materials for proper disposition.

  • Ensures that the implemented changes and corrective action to rectify non-conformance issues are respected in the manufacturing line.

  • Performs First Article Assessment activities.

  • Supports internal, industry and customer audits as required.

  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality

  • Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:

  • Ability to exercise good judgment in providing quality guidance.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal customers.

  • Knowledge and understanding of quality and manufacturing standards.

  • Good knowledge of computer applications and the ability to perform tasks using Microsoft Word, Excel.

  • Good knowledge and understanding of shop floor control and quality management documentation systems such as Spectrum Pro, EtQ.

  • Skills for evaluating, diagnosing and solving problems encountered in the manufacturing.

  • Well organized.

salary: $43,680 - $47,840 per year

Detailed Description:

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

Performs and reports in process and product first layer assessment.
