Town Of Mesilla Town Marshal in MESILLA, New Mexico
*VFS *
Manages all operations of the Marshal department. Enforces laws and municipal ordinances. Assists in patrol as needed. Directs plans and implements goals, objectives, policies and priorities of the Marshals Department.
Manages and maintains the departments budget. Confers with citizens and Town officials on law enforcement problems.
Must have graduated from an accredited college/university with degree in police science/criminal justice/law enforcement or recommended closely related field/or years of experience may substitute. A New Mexico LEA certification is preferred (if certified out of state, must become certified by NMLEA within 6 months of hire).
