BAE Systems is looking for an RF Product Test Engineer to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment at their Merrimack, New Hampshire Advance Composite Manufacturing facility. Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, and being able to adapt to a changing production factory environment brings with it an exciting opportunity to influence the successful execution of production goals and achieving operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Antenna Technology to support manufacturing and test lines within the Advanced Composite Manufacturing factory.
In this role, the Antenna RF Product Test Engineer will be responsible for RF Antenna testing activities across all F35 antenna product lines.
Review test data for compliance and implement actions to reduce variation
Review product test issues and develop actions to bring product into compliance
Trouble shoot test issues related to equipment performance and implement solutions
Interface with IT and Security to coordinate test equipment calibration and repair
Act as a Data Transfer Agent (DTA) to move test data between ranges as required
Identify and drive test improvement opportunities
Develop and maintain trend analysis data bases to effectively track product test performance.
Incorporating strategic thinking related to implementation of new technology
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or Related Engineering discipline.
Experience with Antenna Theory and Design
Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a demonstrated ability to collect meaningful data and make data driven decisions
Outstanding communication, presentation, skills and interpersonal skills to convey key insights from complex analysis and ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical teams
Ability to work data analysis with spreadsheet manipulation for large data sets
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Minimum of 4 years of experience in RF test environment performing related work
Familiarity with Orbit test equipment and 959 Spectrum antenna test software
Experience with Visual Basic and Excel macro creation and editing
Current DOD Collateral Secret Government clearance
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
