Job Responsibilities:
Update Java, C, and even a little FORTRAN so it compiles again after the recent RHEL8 update
Demonstrate initiative in independent problem-solving while having access to the program's subject matter expert
Collaborate closely with program colleagues to implement IA (Information Assurance) controls
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.
This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
6 years of software development, or equivalent technical experience
Experience compiling & debugging C and Java required
Understanding of how to implement IA (Information Assurance) controls
Proficiency with source code control tools such as git or Bitbucket
Strong written and verbal technical communication & collaboration skills
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or a related discipline
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience developing on Linux Operating Systems
Experience with FORTRAN would be a plus
Familiarity with agile development methodologies (scrum or kanban)
TS/SCI clearance (but may be able to obtain clearance on this program)
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
