Description We are in the search for a Network Engineer to join our team in the retail industry, located in Merrimack, New Hampshire. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. The Network Engineer will be instrumental in enhancing our network technologies, ensuring reliability and optimum performance for end-users.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement network infrastructure solutions, with a focus on Cisco and Avaya technologies.

• Resolve network issues, design solutions, and conduct root cause analyses.

• Collaborate with teams across the shared services framework to troubleshoot enterprise voice and data network infrastructure.

• Maintain and update voice and data hardware/software platforms, ensuring compliance with guidelines.

• Utilize expertise in Cisco data network hardware and voice infrastructure.

• Develop and implement best practices for solution delivery and maintain detailed infrastructure documentation.

• Lead troubleshooting efforts during alerts or failures, collaborating with the team.

• Share knowledge effectively with team members, support, and development groups.

• Serve as the technical lead on projects of moderate to large scope, delivering quality solutions on time and within budget.

• Collaborate with the Project Management Office to develop project plans, schedules, documentation, and messaging.

• Monitor existing systems, resolve performance issues, and identify infrastructure vulnerabilities, offering recommendations for improvement. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Network Engineer in the retail industry

• Proficiency in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, and Cisco Routers

• Comprehensive understanding and experience with Cisco Technologies

• Demonstrated experience in AB Testing and Computer Hardware

• Proven skills in Configuration Management, Datacenter, and Deployments

• Experience in working with Cisco VPN, VPN - Virtual Private Network, and VPN Technologies

• Familiarity with Web VPN, OSPF, EBGP, and iBGP

• Knowledge of IDS, Cisco ACI, Firewall, and Firewall administration

• Experience in Firewall Configuration and working with Cisco Nexus

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
