What you\'ll be doing: Seeking an accomplished leader in Commercial Lines who brings deep industry expertise and a broad view of the marketplace. As the Center of Excellence (COE) leader of Non-Profit Human Services (NPHS), this individual will oversee national strategy development and execution of underwriting, growth, and profitability for this industry vertical. Core competencies include driving clear strategic direction, managing risk selection and portfolio performance, and optimizing relationships with agents and brokers. This leader will also implement underwriting standards and specialized strategies for NPHS. Provide underwriting direction and oversight for the execution of long and short-term underwriting strategies that advance organizational objectives. Supervisor responsibilities to include staffing, training and development, performance management, and work force planning. On any given day, you\'ll: Deploy comprehensive knowledge and mastery of industry strategy including underwriting, pricing, operations, finance and product development. Demonstrated competency in strategic and organizational agility and managing a vision and purpose. Drive the development of growing business plans reflective of the competitive environment, inclusive of a plan for entry and expansion into each industry space and aggressively monitors results adjusting strategies and tactics to maximize profit while balancing growth. Maintain appropriate specialization and awareness of industry trends by participating in specialized trade forums, industry boards or bureaus to build technical expertise and business acumen.
