Overview

St. Luke’s Health System in the Treasure Valley is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant or Nurse Apprentice to join our Home Health/Hospice team.

What You Can Expect:

• Full Time 1.0 FTE - Mon-Thursday 0700-3:30 and Friday’s are 0830-5pm (this is always variable or subject to change)There is also on-call, weekend rotations, and rotating Holidays.

• Assists nursing personnel in providing patient care in assigned areas. Performs other skills/tasks as identified by the unit/department that require a unique body of knowledge/skills

• Will train and cross over internally with Lab Dept. partnership. This position serves a dual purpose of Mobile Phlebotomy and Aide which will require willingness to function as a phlebotomist in the community

• Requires use of a personal vehicle and or fleet car, ability to work semi- autonomous under the direction of leaders and the interdisciplinary team; ability to adapt to a changing environment; willingness to work during inclement weather; care is provided in the community and home setting outside of the traditional facility environment

• Moderate proficiency with technology, organized, and able to adjust to change; effective with time management

Qualifications:

• Education: No Education Required

• Experience: 6 months experience

• Licenses/Certifications: Current CNA Certification in the State of Practice or a Nurse Apprentice Letter and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
