Description

We are in the process of hiring a part-time accountant (10-15 hours week) located in Mequon, Wisconsin. In this role, you will take on various accounting tasks and need to have a strong understanding of QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and ADP - Payroll. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process accounts payable and manage invoice processing

• Oversee bank and general ledger reconciliations, including the processing of journal entries

• Handle payroll processing for a group of employees using ADP

• Compute commissions for staff members

• Provide support for month-end closing duties

• Carry out other accounting tasks as needed, supporting multiple locations.

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is required

• Experience with ADP - Payroll is a plus

• Strong understanding of general ledger functions and financial statements

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Must have a strong ethical stance, ensuring the confidential handling of sensitive financial information.
