JOB REQUIREMENTS: Discover. Achieve. Succeed. #BeHere Location: US:WI:MENOMONEE FALLS at our FROEDTERT MEN FALLS HOSPITAL facility. This job is ON - SITE. FTE: 0.500000 Shift: Shift 4 Hiring for a variety of 8hr shifts Monday-Friday with start times that flex between 05-0730 and 1030a-1pm with occasional later shift to meet unit needs. No holidays, and only one Saturday on call about every 6 weeks. Your exact schedule hours are flexed based on surgical patient volume. You will be given an estimated time frame of arrival to work on your 6 week schedule. The day prior to work, you will be told the exact time to come in. For example, if you are scheduled for shift F, you might be told to arrive for your 8hr shift at 1100a, or you might be told to arrive at 1200p. Staff receive a variety of shifts in their 6 week schedule. Our primary needs at this time are D, E and F shifts (occasional C), but this changes depending on OR schedules and unit staffing needs. Very occasionally may be scheduled an extra on-call shift, or asked to work a little later, above your FTE, based on unit needs. Generally, staff are very happy with staffing on our team. Shift Start Times: A 0500-0700 B 0600-0730 C 0730-0830 D 0830-0930 E 0930-1030 E/F 1030-1130 F 1130-1300 Job Summary: The Registered Nurse is a practitioner who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients. The RN demonstrates competency in delivery of care to all patient populations and is responsible for the management of both the unique and predictable needs of the patient undergoing an operative or invasive procedure in the Operating Room and/or the GI/Bronch lab. The Registered Nurse job description incorporates the 15 essential functions of the job description, which are adapted from the ANA Standards of Clinical Nursing Practice. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing in order to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse is required. Upon hire any non-BSN nurse with less than one year of licensed registered nurse experience will be required to enroll in a BSN (or higher nursing degree) program....
