Job Title: Field Service Technician

Job Description

Candidates will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Oxy plasma cutters, lasers, and other fabrication equipment across manufacturing facilities throughout the US. This role requires strong electrical and installation knowledge, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The technician will use various tools and work closely with customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain Oxy plasma cutters, lasers, and other fabrication equipment.

• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.

• Perform electrical wiring and mechanical installations.

• Use tools and work with customers to identify and solve problems.

• Ensure proper handling and safety procedures are followed when dealing with 480VAC.

Essential Skills

• Electrical troubleshooting

• Mechanical installation

• Electrical wiring

• Reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints

• 4+ years of field service experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with plasma, laser, and other cutting processes preferred

• Experience with multi-axis CNC machines preferred

• Experienced in handling and safety procedures for 480VAC

• Ability to interpret mechanical layout drawings, electrical schematics, and bills of materials

• Familiarity with power and construction tools such as hammer drills, impact guns, and cordless drills

• Strong oral communication skills

• Strong customer service skills with a 'customer first' mindset

• Self-motivated and able to work independently

• Willingness to travel 95-100% of the time, often on short notice

Work Environment

1st shift hours: 6:30/7am - 4:30/5pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $80000.00

401k match (50% of 6% for 4-5 year period...then up to 100% of 6%)

Per Diem for travel

OT will be avaliable
