Summary:

Research Program Managers build and scale global research programs to strengthen the impact of our world-class UX Research team. We do this by implementing operational systems, connecting teams and knowledge, and problem solving operational hurdles to enable Researchers to do their most impactful work.

This particular Research Program Manager will manage our internal facing research review program with an opportunity to build on and improve our policies, processes and resources. You will liaison with internal partner team members to update and improve tooling and workflows to support our research team. You will also develop educational and training materials for Researchers and aid in monitoring the quality and integrity of the research review process. You will oversee and facilitate the training of our staff research reviewers and ensure we have consistent review coverage.

This role requires program management experience with strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills. You should be a process expert, able to take a diverse set of needs and develop a cohesive and holistic process. The ideal candidate for this role has broad knowledge of research’s impact on product development, experience managing complex logistics, strong communication skills, and an organized approach.

Required Skills:

  1. Act as the lead for research review operations, managing and maintaining the logistics of internal research review processes

  2. Develop, maintain, monitor and refine processes, including training for staff research reviewers

  3. Support and monitor tooling and processes for research review in close collaboration with cross functional partners and owners

  4. Predict obstacles and establish holistic solutions to overcome challenges

  5. Move initiatives forward, find resources, raise concerns to owners early and resolve open issues that prevent progress

  6. Hold the line when progress is in jeopardy while maintaining relationships

  7. Collaborate on research team programs and initiatives

  8. Manage relationships with Corporate Communications, Legal, Policy and Privacy teams

  9. Cascade relevant updates from stakeholders across the company and facilitate translating these into educational and training materials

  10. Communicate regularly to ensure all stakeholders are aware of updates to processes, rules and regulations

  11. Track the performance of the research review process against benchmarks and communicates performance metrics to research leadership

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of program or project management experience

  2. 2+ years’ experience working with research and high knowledge of research use cases

  3. Experience building and maintaining complex processes

  4. Proven experience building relationships with peers and senior stakeholders

  5. Demonstrable experience owning high-impact, time sensitive escalations and driving alignment by facilitating challenging stakeholder conversations

  6. Experience articulating a vision while being experience listening and synthesize feedback and needs

  7. Communication and presentation skills for interacting with researchers, cross functional stakeholders, and senior management

  8. Experience with organization and ownership of multiple spaces

  9. Track record of operating independently, embracing ambiguity, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner

  10. Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires independent time management, task prioritization, flexibility, and keen on identifying problems and proactively work towards solutions

  11. Organizational and consensus-building experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Knowledge of regulatory compliance processes

  2. Research review process management experience

  3. Experience managing survey collection market research projects
