Administrative Assistants needed for a 2-year contract in Albany!
Job Title: Administrative Assistant I
Work Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Work Location: Albany, NY 12204
Pay Rate: $22.00 - $27.00 Based on experience
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Sort and distribute incoming mail.
Review and draft responses to incoming correspondence, as well as review outgoing correspondence.
Handle phone calls and greet visitors; respond to questions when appropriate.
Coordinate and arrange meetings and travel as necessary.
Maintain office filing systems, including electronic records.
Operate office equipment, including keyboards, and use Microsoft and other software to produce correspondence, reports, and other agency documents.
Scan and save documents in electronic format.
Enter data into Microsoft Access, Excel spreadsheets, and Word documents.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Experience in answering phones in a professional manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Capacity to handle multiple tasks within a given day.
Ability to work independently.
Experience with the professional medical conduct process.
