Responsibilities
Transaction Management: Coordinate and manage all aspects of commercial real estate transactions from inception to closing, including sales, acquisitions, leasing, and financing.
Document Preparation: Draft, review, and finalize legal documents such as purchase agreements, lease agreements, title commitments, closing statements, deeds, and other related documents.
Due Diligence: Conduct and manage comprehensive due diligence processes, including title and survey reviews, zoning and land use analysis, and environmental assessments.
Title and Escrow Coordination: Work closely with title companies to resolve title issues, ensure timely issuance of title commitments and policies, and coordinate escrow closings.
Legal Research: Perform legal research related to commercial real estate transactions, including reviewing local, state, and federal regulations.
Financial Management: Assist in the management of funds, including preparing and reviewing settlement statements and ensuring accurate financial documentation.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal, with a focus on commercial real estate.
Proficient in preparing and managing legal documents related to commercial property transactions.
Proficiency in real estate software (e.g., SoftPro, Landtech) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Bachelor's degree in a related field or Paralegal Certification preferred.
