Job Title: Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial maintenance, specifically with new lines and components, AC inverters, drives, and motors. The role involves troubleshooting, programming variable frequency drives (VFDs), wiring, and mechanical and fabrication work when necessary. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for skill development and career growth.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain new lines and components, AC inverters, drives, and motors.

• Rewire motors and program VFDs.

• Wire VFDs and replace breakers.

• Run and bend conduit.

• Change voltage from 480V to 220V to 110V as needed.

• Perform mechanical and fabrication work when electrical tasks are not required.

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues effectively.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

• Ability to read schematics.

• Multi-craft abilities including hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, controls, gear boxes, and circuits.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and VFDs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.

• Maintenance technician and millwright skills.

• Fabrication experience.

• Welding skills (preferred but not required).

Work Environment

The first shift operates Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM, the second shift from 3 PM to 11 PM, and the third shift from 11 PM to 7 AM. Some Saturday work is available on a volunteer basis, with occasional mandatory shifts based on production volume. Training for second shift may occur on first shift for up to 90 days.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $39.00/hr.
