Robert Half Financial Planning & Analysis Manager in Memphis, Tennessee

Description Our reputable client is seeking a FP& A Manager to join the company. The FP& A Manager must be able to multitask and work under multiple tight deadlines at once, as well as excellent analytical capabilities and strong verbal and writing skills. Your responsibilities

  • Aid with financial deliverables for the executive team

  • Participate in and contribute to cross-functional development teams to address strategic issues

  • Oversee and manage financial planning team operations

  • Conduct financial analysis and valuation related to mergers and acquisitions

  • Contribute to financial analysis support for forecasting and corporate budgeting processes

  • Aid in regulatory filings

  • Supervise financial analysis and developing short- and long-term financial forecasts

  • Oversee the employee hiring process, including recruiting, selecting, training, evaluating, and retaining employees

  • Create operational budgets and forecasts during the annual budget development cycle

  • Provide key financial analysis to inform both day-to-day and strategic decisions

  • Enable strategic and day-to-day decisions through financial analysis

  • Prepare financial models and data mining tools for variance analysis

  • Analyze budget and fiscal assumptions in the creation of operating plans Requirements - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required

  • 8+ years of experience in FP& A required

  • Possess qualifications to analyze complex business problems, propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and direction

  • Previous experience with computer software, including writing macros in Excel, Access, financial Modeling and other accounting packages

  • 2+ years of FP& A supervisory/leadership experience

  • Must have superb interpersonal and influencing skills

  • Superb qualitative and quantitative skills

  • Must have high business acumen

  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are a plus

  • Strong communication skills and skilled at building relationships
