Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our team, supporting one of our top clients in the Pharmacy Solutions industry. This role is pivotal in driving transformations for the BI team. Key responsibilities include:

 Transforming raw data into consumable formats for the BI team.

 Designing and implementing dynamic data ingestion processes for various data types and files.

 Optimizing data storage solutions to enhance query performance in Synapse.

 Continuously suggesting and implementing improvements.

Work Breakdown:

 30% Data Modeling: Document current data flows and structures.

 30% Dynamic Data Ingestion: Develop new processes for ingesting diverse data types.

 30% Innovation: Explore and integrate new technologies and methodologies.

 10% Meetings: Collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

 Develop and maintain data models.

 Provide fresh perspectives and innovative ideas.

 Design and build traditional data warehouses.

 Implement modern tools, patterns, and approaches.

 Utilize existing tools and infrastructure effectively.

 Model data for data warehouses, including table structures and data lakehouses.

 Apply modern data patterns and practices.

Skills and Requirements

Experience with data lakes and data lakehouses.

 Proficiency in Azure services, including Azure Synapse and Azure Mesh.

 Strong SQL skills.

 Business Intelligence (BI) support, including data transformation for consumption. Familiarity with Microsoft Medallion architecture (bronze/silver/gold).

 Experience with Snowflake. null
