Job Information

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Bioinformatics Research Scientist Multi-omics in Memphis, Tennessee

Performs data analysis, data visualization, statistical analysis, experimental design, database development, mathematical modeling, and novel method development. Provides bioinformatics analysis for investigators and communicates analytical process and results. Assists in preparing and submitting manuscripts for publication. Contributes ideas to automate or improve existing analysis methods, and innovative algorithm development. Assists with establishing and documenting protocols or best practices for common research tasks. Ensures that efficient and prompt help is provided to SJCRH PIs and other investigators.

  • Bachelor's degree is required

  • Seven (7) years of relevant post-degree work experience is required

  • Five (5) years of relevant post-degree work experience is required with a Master's degree

  • Two (2) years of relevant post-degree work experience is required with a PhD
