Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Memphis, Tennessee. This role is primarily focused on supporting various aspects of Billing and Accounts Receivable functions in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of tasks including processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. This role will be part of a team that works closely with various internal organizations and people across different locations.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications.

• Maintain accurate and updated customer credit records.

• Understand and perform complex reconciliations often with large data sets.

• Enter a high volume of detailed billing data into the general ledger.

• Ensure billing cycle and sweep cutoff points are met to enable timely collection of payments.

• Develop an understanding of upstream billing data input processes and take necessary steps to ensure data arrives in an error-free condition.

• Understand and apply appropriate accounting and other coding classifications for accurate financial reporting and tracking.

• Work closely with regional staff to ensure timely and error-free billing and collection processes.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed.

• Seek ways to automate and simplify data input/output processes, potentially developing it with available software tools. Requirements • Possess proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Have experience using ADP - Financial Services

• Ability to utilize CRM systems effectively

• Familiarity with Epic Software is necessary

• Proficient with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems

• Understanding and ability to perform Accounting Functions

• Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) is a must

• Knowledge of Billing Functions

• Ability to manage Cash Activity

• Experience in Check Processing is required
